Project: Tactical Frontier

Codename: Tactical Frontier is an upcoming single-player first-person and third-person tactical shooter inspired by the grounded, team-focused gameplay of classic titles such as SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.
The project is built around deliberate, systems-driven gameplay where positioning, communication, and decision-making matter as much as aim. Instead of fast, chaotic action, the game focuses on tension, planning, and consequence—where every engagement carries weight, and every choice has a cost.
At its core, the game blends tactical shooter mechanics with light survival elements. Players must manage resources, adapt to hostile environments, and operate with limited information in dynamic scenarios. The goal is to create an experience that feels grounded and immersive, without losing gameplay flexibility or player freedom.
Tactical Frontier supports both first-person and third-person perspectives, allowing players to adapt their playstyle depending on situation and preference. Combat is designed to be methodical and unforgiving, rewarding patience, awareness, and coordination over reckless aggression.
The survival layer is intentionally restrained—focused on enhancing immersion and operational decision-making rather than turning the game into a full survival simulator. Scarcity, planning, and environmental pressure all play a role in shaping encounters and pacing.
Currently in early development, Tactical Frontier is being built in Unreal Engine with a strong emphasis on scalable systems and long-term iteration. Core mechanics, movement, combat behavior, and environmental systems are being prototyped and refined to support future expansion.
The vision for Tactical Frontier is simple: a modern PvE tactical shooter that returns to grounded design principles while evolving them for today’s players—slow where it matters, intense when it counts, and always driven by player choice.
